Millbrae: Motorcyclist killed in crash on Highway 101 ramp

A motorcyclist died in a crash on a Highway 101 off-ramp in Millbrae on Wednesday night, a California Highway Patrol spokesman said.

The crash was reported at 9:48 p.m. on the Millbrae Avenue off-ramp from southbound Highway 101, CHP Officer Art Montiel said.

The driver apparently lost control of the motorcycle while exiting the freeway and crashed into a wall, Montiel said. No other vehicles are thought to have been involved.

The man died of his injuries at the scene. He was identified only as a San Francisco resident in his 50s.
