Benjamin Pavard transfer odds: Man Utd lead Chelsea in race for Bayern Munich’s World Cup-winning defender
MANCHESTER UNITED are the favourites to sign Bayern Munich’s World Cup winning defender Benjamin Pavard.
The France international is priced at 11/4 with Betfair to make the move to Old Trafford this summer.

New United boss Erik ten Hag is hoping to add to the three summer signings that he has made already.
The 26-year-old is a defender that has spent most of his career as a right back but is believed to want to spend more time playing centre back in the future.
United have already signed a centre-back this window in Lisandro Martinez, and their two current right backs, Aaron Wan Bissaka and Diogo Dalot haven’t been very convincing of late.
Pavard signed for Bayern Munich from Stuttgart for £32million in 2019, the summer after he helped France win the World Cup in Russia as the first choice right back.
Bayern Munich have recently announced the signing of £60m man Matthijs de Ligt from Juventus, which has most likely knocked Pavard down the pecking order of centre backs at the German champions.
The Frenchman has two years left on his current deal still.

Chelsea are also linked with the defender at have been given odds of 5/1 to secure the signing from Betfair.
Like United, Chelsea have also restocked in the centre back partnership this window having picked up Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli for £34.
The Blues are also rumoured to be close to agreeing a deal for Pavard’s international teammate and Sevilla defender Jules Kounde.
Juventus, on the lookout for a replacement for the aforementioned de Ligt, are also in the hunt and priced at 8/1, while Atletico Madrid have been given 10/1 odds to sign the Frenchman.
