West Ham agree £30.5m transfer plus add-ons for Gianluca Scamacca as David Moyes finally gets his striker
WEST HAM have agreed a transfer for Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca, SunSport can reveal.
The two clubs met at a £30.5million up-front payment by the Hammers – with further add-ons.
However, the Italian club were originally hoping to get at least £43m with the player dubbed the next Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
However, they accepted a lower fee for the 6ft 6ins giant.
But personal terms have not yet been agreed.
David Moyes has been desperate to land striker this summer to bolster his attack.

Chelsea’s Armando Broja was another option but instead they have got their primary target.
Scamacca, 23, came through the ranks at Lazio, Roma and PSV before joining Sassuolo in 2017, going out on loan four times.
He scored 16 goals in 36 Serie A games last season which led to interest from Arsenal.
The seven-cap Italian is in the perfect mould of a Moyes striker – physical, quick feet and able to hold the ball off to put in players around him.
