I tried Bella Hadid’s model diet – it was really hard and not what I expected
RUNNING runway to runway and traveling the world to shoot designer campaigns, it’s shocking Bella Hadid still finds time to cook.
So, what’s it like being on an international supermodel diet?
From her pancetta pasta to her chickpea salad, Bella’s recipes have been circulating on social media for a while now.
Also known to taste test different donuts and cookies, Bella maintains a diet that may not be what most people expect a model’s diet to be.
Cooking lover Jazmin Tyler focuses her YouTube channel on posting healthy, balanced, and nourishing meals that give your body what it needs.
Eager to make one of Bella’s TikTok recipes, Jazmin decided to try her diet for the day, but it turns out it’s not doable exactly as is.

“Of course, we’re going to put our own spin on the meals, we’re going to make holistic recipes that are balanced, healthy, and delicious, but that aren’t restrictive,” Jazmin says to viewers.
Starting the day off with a cold fix, Bella’s breakfast is a protein shake.
She’ll also make eggs and oatmeal, but Jazmin decides to ditch the cooked food and go straight for the shake.
Jazmin adds two frozen bananas, some pineapple, peanut butter, almond milk, and cacao nibs.

Usually, the protein shake would have protein powder in it.
However, Jazmin hasn’t been feeling well after she has it, so she doesn’t add any.
“This is straight ice cream. It’s kind of like a frosty,” she says.
For a snack, Jazmin decides to put her spin on things.
Because Bella loves to try sweet snacks, Jazmin makes one.
Cookie crisps are on the menu, which consists of a bowl of little cookies and some almond milk.
Jazmin mixes almond flour, vanilla protein, peanut butter, honey, chocolate chips, and a dash of almond milk in a bowl.
She scoops little balls out of the dough, puts them on a cookie sheet, and bakes them at 350 degrees for about 12 minutes.
Before pouring the milk over them, she lets the cookie crisps sit for ten minutes.
At lunchtime, Jazmin decides to make Bella’s famous salad.
Instead of cucumber, parmesan, and bell peppers, Jazmin adds carnitas, feta, and cabbage.
The salad also includes a head of lettuce, some olive oil, and vinegar, and the key is to mash the avocado in the dressing for a creamy texture.
Jazmin admits: “Her salad was not going to fill me up because I like to eat, you know, something that feels solid and nourishing, and that’s going to fuel me a lot.”
Dinner is protein-packed and well-balanced.
Jazmin wants to highlight Bella’s love for making dishes authentic to her background and which incorporate a lot of different spices.
In a bowl, Jazmin rubs some chili powder, cumin, paprika, turmeric, a little bit of cinnamon, and some unsweetened greek yogurt.
These aren’t the exact spices Bella uses, but Jazmin improvises.
She also decided to try roasted bell peppers seasoned with olive oil, cumin, paprika, and turmeric.
On a tray with the chicken, she cooks both in the oven at 450 degrees for 45 minutes.
She then slices some potatoes, throws on the same spice blend, and adds a little bit of lemon after the potatoes cook in the air fryer.
Although Jazmin admits Bella is changing the modeling industry and combating the toxicity it perpetuates around eating, she still felt like some of the dishes needed to be more filling.

Her viewers agreed.
One commented: “I really like that you shared both Bella’s recipes and your own alterations to the recipes, like substituting certain veg or adding protein.”
