On the show, when Karan Johar asked Samantha about who she thought was the biggest female actor in the Sout Indian film industry, she referred to her recent release Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, where she shares the screen with Nayanthara. She implied that she believes that Nayanthara is the biggest South Indian actor. At this point, Karan Johar responded saying that he thinks otherwise. He went on to refer to a recent Ormax Media list of the top female actors in the country which has listed Samantha as the number one female actor in India.
