Robbie Williams to let cameras into his home for a tell-all documentary, 20 years after his last one
HE has some of the best stories in showbiz and soon Robbie Williams will be sharing them
The singer has signed a deal to make a documentary about his life.
It is being put together by some of the people who worked on his rival Liam Gallagher’s 2019 film As It Was.
Robbie has already been followed by cameras for the project, which has been in the works for a few months.
A music insider said: “Robbie is one of the most entertaining men in music and the documentary will be hilarious and heart- felt in equal measure.
“He has been through a hell of a lot and battled lots of demons in his personal life.

“But he’s also had an incredible career in music, started a family and racked up plenty of celebrity anecdotes, so there will be loads to talk about in the documentary.”
Robbie, whose debut solo album was 1997’s Life Thru A Lens, has done a documentary before, Nobody Someday, which was released 20 years ago.
As well as the new one-off special, Robbie has been working on his biopic, Better Man, in Australia.
He will star in it alongside Gavin & Stacey’s Alison Steadman and Inside No.9 actor Steve Pemberton.

It is being directed by The Greatest Showman filmmaker Michael Gracey and is due out at the end of 2023 or early 2024.
Robbie next album, XXV, will be released in September.
On Saturday I told how the singer will be branching out with skincare line, Hopeium, this year.
And in May, Robbie also took a step into the art world by exhibiting his black and white paintings, with his creative partner Ed Godrich, at Sotheby’s in London.
After more than three decades in music, I wouldn’t blame Robbie for wanting to retreat from the spotlight for the quiet life.
But given all of the plates he is spinning at the moment, I can’t see that happening any time soon.
KESHA LOOKS SUPER-NATURAL
KESHA looked out of this world in this outfit, so it’s just as well she is making a show about all things supernatural.
She slipped into latex bustier and with her hair in a long braid while promoting her series Conjuring Kesha at Comic-Con in San Diego.
The Amazon Prime show sees her delve deep into the unknown to search for answers to the unexplainable.
British actress Michaela Coel, best known for her hit BBC drama I May Destroy You, was also there as it was announced she will star in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever as the character Aneka.
Dwayne Johnson made a dramatic entrance by dressing up as his superhero character Black Adam when he made a talk there.
But one special person, who may well have a bright future in the comic book movie world, was missing.
Harry Styles is on tour in Europe but it was teased he will return on screen after making a cameo in The Eternals as Eros.
Asked if Harry will be back, Marvel president Kevin Feige said: “Yes.
“The adventures of Eros and Pip is something we’re very excited for.”

RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS will drop a new album on October 14 – six months after their most recent one.
The US band revealed the news on stage in Denver on Saturday, and also the name of the collection, Return Of The Dream Canteen.
The band said: “Our moody love for each other and the magic of music had gifted us with more songs than we knew what to do with.
“Well we figured it out, two double albums released back to back.”
SHAUN IS SAM’S FRIEND-ER
AS far as collaborations go, I bet you didn’t see this one coming.
Sam Fender brought out on stage an unlikely guest as he headlined Truck Festival in Steventon, Oxon, on Saturday, EastEnders actor Shaun Williamson, best known for playing hapless Barry Evans.
The pair sang Sam’s 2021 track Getting Started, which he called “one of the highlights of our career,” for him and his band.
It has been 18 years since Barry died after being pushed off the side of a cliff on the BBC1 soap.
Given Sam would only have been ten at the time, it clearly made an impact.
LIL NAS ALBUM SET BACK
LIL NAS X had to push back the release of his second album because life has been “beating his ass” – though he is fighting back.
The Industry Baby rapper said he wanted to put out the follow-up to last year’s Montero this summer.
He said on an Instagram Live: “I can’t wait to share new music with you all.
“It’s been a long f***ing year. Things didn’t quite go as planned.
“I wanted to have my whole album out in the summer but that just didn’t happen.
“But soon I’m going to drop some new music, some f***ing videos. I’m inspired.
“Life has been beating my ass lately but I’m going to start beating life’s ass back.”
BRIT IS TA-STRUCK
BRITNEY SPEARS got starstruck meeting Taron Egerton.
She shared photos of her with the Brit actor on her Instagram account and wrote: “Such a freaking fan . . . I was so stupid!”
The Toxic singer told in 2016 how his film Kingsman was “one of my favourite movies”.
Britney’s husband didn’t seem quite as upbeat about the pair hanging out.

The Let Them Know singer, who performed on the ITV2 show last year, reckons she is such a bad flirt that it would be embarrassing to watch – and she fears the reaction from show fans.
Mabel – who is dating music exec Preye Crooks – said: “There is absolutely no way I could go in there and get judged in that way, to have people watch me flirt on there.
“I’m so clumsy and not graceful at all. I am so not smooth.

WESTLIFE TO ABBA GO AT AVATARS
WESTLIFE have sold out massive stadiums on their current tour and they could be doing that for years to come – in digital form.
The group have been performing an Abba medley as part of their show and have not ruled out following in the footsteps of the band in transforming into avatars after the success of the Swedes’ virtual concert.
In an exclusive chat, Kian Egan said: “Yeah. you never know.
“I don’t think I would say no to it. If people still wanted to come and see Westlife and that was an option, why not.”
The Irish band will play a sold-out show at Wembley Stadium on August 6, which will be live-streamed in cinemas across the country.
And despite more than two decades in music, it will be a pinch-me moment for Kian.
He said: “As a child, before I even knew what any stadium in Ireland was called, I knew what Wembley Stadium was.
“I think everybody knows Wembley, it is one of the most iconic stadiums in the world.
“As a young child you think, ‘What is the dream?’
“The dream is to be in a band and, you know, to play Wembley Stadium would be the ultimate.
“And the ultimate dream has arrived and we are here now and it’s all happening, so it’s kind of a bit mental.”
700 AND IT’S A DISCO RECORD
IF you feel the ground shaking on the south coast this Saturday don’t panic, it’s not an earthquake.
It will be 700 revellers attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the largest ever synchronised disco dance at Camp Bestival in the grounds of Lulworth Castle, Dorset, to the sound of Sister Sledges’s We Are Family.
Event boss and DJ Rob Da Bank told me in an exclusive chat that the pressure is on.
He said: “There are so many rules, it is not a hands in the air job.
“The 700 who have signed up have to do the routine for 90 seconds in front of the adjudicators. There is some wiggle room.
“Ten per cent can get it wrong. And we get three goes.
“Sophie Ellis-Bextor is hosting it with myself and my wife Josie.”
