Eric Dier hails Antonio Conte’s Tottenham revolution and says squad ‘feels built already’ after six summer transfers
ERIC DIER is relishing the Tottenham revolution as boss Antonio Conte’s new recruits take the club to the next level.
Spurs have acted early and decisively in the transfer market, with all six summer arrivals finishing the 2-1 victory against Rangers on Saturday.
Defender Dier, coming into his ninth season at the club, told Spursplay: “There’s definitely a different feeling to what I’ve had before here, just because of the amount of signings before pre-season.
“It’s being in a group with such a strong squad that feels built already.
“I think the new boys are settling in really well. It’s been quite seamless, their transition.
“It’s fantastic to build more depth in the squad.

“We needed that — we need to have a more competitive squad, to feel that competitiveness every day in training.
“That’s great. I think it will lift everyone as individuals and as a team.”
The positivity around Tottenham seems to be bringing the best out of Harry Kane — who scored both goals at Ibrox — a year after he was agitating for a move away.
Some are even tipping Spurs to give Manchester City and Liverpool a run for their money in the Premier League.

Dier added: “The way we ended last season, I felt like we were really starting to get on a roll.
“We can be excited but we have to be extremely humble and keep working.”
