California Declares State Of Emergency Over Monkeypox Outbreak

California Governor Gavin Newsom on Monday stated an emergency to fight the increasing cases of Monkeypox in the state.
California is the third US state after New York and Illinois to issue an emergency throughout the upper state of the disease.

Governor Newsom said emergency declarations throughout the state would help coordinate better responses to Monkeypox, increase awareness and secure more vaccines.
