To avoid coming across dangerous camouflaged creatures, maintaining attention is key to spotting animals from a distance.
Content creator Matthew has shared a series of viral optical illusions in a social media video. He asked viewers if they could spot the animals hidden in the pictures of nature.
“This is ‘how long you’d survive in the wild’ vision test,” he began.
He categorized the pictures by difficulty. Can you locate the hidden creatures?
EASY
“Here’s the first one. I’m gonna say this one’s pretty easy.
“And let me just say every single animal that is in all of these photos could easily subtract you from the equation that is life if they wanted to and then proceeds to sleep like a baby afterward,” Matthew quipped.
The first image includes gravel of varying brown shades, making it difficult to locate the hidden leggy creature.

MEDIUM
The next nature scene features white and brown-toned trees with surrounding fall-colored leaves.

There is a mysterious animal lurking within it.
“Okay, next up I’d say this one is pretty average. This one did drive me insane and we’re only on the second one so good luck. Don’t worry if you can’t see it cause I can assure you it sees you.
“The worst part is that once you see it and know what animal it is then you can pretty much guarantee that there are more around.”
HARD
Fall leaves and weeds make up the next photo. A sneaky critter is in its natural habitat.
But where is it?
“I’m going to put this one in the hard category,” Matthew said.
“I’m going to give you a clue. Since we’re looking at the ground you probably know we’re looking for something small.
“But still not small enough that it couldn’t send you to the next round before you have a chance to say ‘oh there it is.'”
DIFFICULT
“This one’s difficult and I am sorry for this one. And if you don’t want to be put on the front of a newspaper you really need to find it.
“However, finding it will not make it any better cause you’ll realize it’s looking directly into your soul.
“Cause these animals typically like to stare at what they want to take for themselves.”
The dangerous animal is hidden in an image of snow and icicle-covered rocks.
INSANE
The final image has a lone tree with a bunch of soil in the background.
“And finally we have insane and this is just cruel. And I’m not trolling for views. It’s there,” he said referring to the fierce animal hiding in the picture.
