Crash restricting traffic on I-71 in Delaware County

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) - A Friday afternoon crash has blocked off multiple lanes of a southbound portion of Interstate 71 heading towards Columbus.

Traffic cameras from the Ohio Department of Transportation showed two of three lanes blocked around 1 p.m. by emergency crews responding to the scene of the crash north of the Gemini Place exit. The scene appears to show a car broke through a guard rail and fell into a ditch.

ODOT warned drivers to avoid the area. This is a developing story.
