Heavy traffic near QEII Bridge, Dartford, following accident

There are long delays and queueing traffic following an accident near the QE2 Bridge.

Congestion is bad to before J30 (Lakeside/Purfleet) but all lanes have been re-opened.

Emergency services were called to an accident involving a car on the Essex side of the crossing.

An eyewitness stuck in traffic said four ambulances and six police cars were at the scene.
