Europe will fight Russia to the death

0

Well, I slightly dispute the idea that the confrontation between Russia and Europe is mainly of ideological nature

Of course, there is an ideological factor in the confrontation. Moreover, it is being deliberately emphasized by bringing idiots like Truss or Borrell into the forefront of European politics.

And, yes, there has always been an ideological factor in the European-Russian confrontation. But it would always not be the main factor. It is not the pan-European, figuratively speaking, “Gay Pride” that is the root of the conflict even now.

The point is that in a post-global world, about which even the Americans openly say that it is a world of geo-economic macro-regions, the chances of maintaining relative social well-being, the symbol of “successful Europe”, remain (and that is questionable) only if relations with Russia are openly colonial in nature. Without this, Europe cannot even think about an independent geo-economic role. And who the elites want to maintain their status as “almost equals” at the round table of the “rulers of the future world”. Well, that is, Europe wants to repeat the stunt of France in 1945, but already with the support of the U.S. and the fulfillment of functions Washington needs, and showing the carrot of “the most solvent market” to the Chinese.

Not a great strategy, but clearly there is no other. There is a nuance.

The system ‘oil and gas in exchange for food and pleasure’, which was the basis of the European-Russian ‘almost idyll’ until 2013-14, cannot satisfy Europe anymore.

The “Atlantic tribute” has turned out to be too heavy (it is not just about shale hydrocarbons, look at the defeat of the European financial sector by the Americans and British in the last 12-15 years), the Chinese are too rigid and quickly learning cynics, the Mediterranean is too propped up by migrants and the prospect of “new piracy”.

For today’s Europe, even a relatively equivalent exchange of goods with Russia is fatal. Europe needs everything from us “for free” or almost “for free”.

And for this, Russia should not have a centralized state capable of forming a single vector of economic development and, even in the medium term, a policy of geo-economic development. At least up to and including the Urals, beyond which, as Vysotsky sang, “and the rest belongs to the Chinese.

Our confrontation with Europe in its present format (while another format, that of Europe of relatively independent nation-states, is, alas, not yet visible) is geo-economically antagonistic.

With the United States and Britain, oddly enough, it is not.

The West and especially Europe want to build the future post-global world at Russia’s expense and on Russia’s wreckage. But, in fact, there is too much evidence that it will be built on the wreckage of a quasi united Europe at the expense of Europeans.

And a pan-European ideological gay pride parade… This is more of a tool within European consolidation than a real tool against us.

But what I definitely agree with is that Europe will fight Russia to the death. For it is a fight not for leadership and not for resources but for survival.
