Love Island fans all saying the same thing after Jacques makes grovelling apology for bullying
ANGRY Love Island fans have hit out at Jacques O’Neill for his grovelling apology after he was accused of bullying.
Jacques, 23, was slammed for allegedly mocking Tasha Ghouri while Remi Lambert has insisted the rugby player ruined his experience in the villa.
On Thursday Jacques put out a lengthy statement on social media – but fans claim the message was not enough as he didn’t directly reference Tasha, 24, or 22-year-old Remi.
Mocking the apology, one person wrote on Reddit: “‘I would like to apologise without saying the person I hurt’s name at all or properly addressing my actions’.”
Another branded it “basically a non apology”.
And a third insisted: “He’s just saving face. No mention of him reaching out to Tasha or Remi in private either.”

In the post Jacques said: “I just want to acknowledge the situation that’s happening right now and apologise if my behaviour has caused offence or been misinterpreted over the last few weeks.
“I genuinely have no bad feelings towards anyone and I’ve not meant for anything to come across that way at all.
“It was not my intention and I’m genuinely sorry if it has.”
He continued: “Life has been very overwhelming recently and admittedly I’ve probably not handled myself in the best possible way. I take full responsibility for my actions.

“I’m aware that I’m far from perfect and that there is work that needs to be done on myself.”
Jacques then revealed he is in therapy and had his first session this week, but insisted he is not looking for sympathy.
Despite his friendship with Jacques during their time together in the villa, Tasha’s boyfriend Andrew Le Page this week confirmed he’d cut ties with him.
Speaking about distancing himself from the rugby player, Andrew said on Heat’s Under The Duvet : “Yeah, it obviously is true [I unfollowed Jacques].’
“Tasha is my priority and obviously there was a video that came out. We’re trying to move away from it all and just be ourselves and get on with life.”
