Dow up 360 points in final hour of trade while S&P 500 heads for 4th straight weekly gain
Stocks were solidly higher with less than an hour to go in Friday's session. The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 362 points, or 1.1%, while the S&P 500 was up 1.5% and the Nasdaq Composite gained 1.8%. The S&P 500 was on track for a weekly rise of 3%, while the Dow had gained 2.7% and the Nasdaq was set for a 2.8% advance. Stocks have rallied this week as inflation data cooled somewhat, but still ran hot.
