Match Preview – Pontypridd v Ealing Trailfinders Academy

Our preparations for the new campaign continue this evening as we welcome Ealing Trailfinders Academy to Sardis Road. The second match in our pre-season schedule kicks off at 7:30pm.

It’s nearly exactly one year to the day that the two sides last met – on Friday 20th August 2021 tries from Ben Burnell, Dale Stuckey, Morgan Richards and Joe Miles earned Ponty a 28-12 win. The Trailfinders Academy proved to be resilient opponents on that occasion and will no doubt be the same this evening.

Again, Ponty’s matchday squad will be a mixture of both current players and trialists who’ll be looking to impress whilst trying to build upon last Saturday’s win over London Welsh.

It’s an all-pay game against the Trailfinders Academy, admission will be £10 full, £8 concession access-all-areas and under 16’s free if accompanied by a paying adult. Please note that supporter access is via the clubhouse end of the ground only as the Pwllgwaun end remains closed.

The ground and clubhouse will be open from 5:30pm, so with the weather forecast this evening looking good make sure you get to Sardis Road early and get your weekend off to the best possible start!
