Girls Rugby Comes to Luctonians

Our well established Mini & Junior Rugby section returns on Sunday 4th September, but with a difference.

Girls from Reception up to Year 6 have always been able to join our Under 6 to Under 11 age groups, which are mixed, but unable to progress further as, due to RFU rules, age groups from Under 12 (Year 7) upwards are not mixed. Until now that is.

We are delighted to announce that on the 4th of September we will be initiating a girls rugby section at Luctonians. So, if you are a girl who already plays in our mini section, you don’t have to leave us after Under 11s, you can move up into Under 12s Girls.

You don’t already have to be playing with us though as, the same as the the boys, you can come straight in and join us at any age group. Why would you want to though?

And you don’t have to stop there, as we have women’s contact rugby, the Vixens, and Ladies Touch Rugby too.
