Arsenal Star’s Agent And Father Hold Talks Over Move Away, Discussions Continuing With Club

Pepe has struggled to live up to his billing at Arsenal since joining in a big money move from Lille and the Gunners could let him go this summer.

A return to France is a possibility for Pepe and his agent is exploring a switch to Ligue 1 side Nice.

According to French outlet Foot Mercato, Pepe’s agent and father were both in Nice on Friday to hold talks with the Ligue 1 club.

Discussions are ongoing about Pepe joining Nice on a season-long loan deal.

The loan deal would not however contain an option to buy that Nice could trigger.

Pepe has yet to play for Arsenal so far this season, being an unused substitute in both the Gunners’ Premier League matches so far.

In total, the Ivory Coast international has made 112 outings for Arsenal since joining in the summer of 2019, hitting the back of the net on 27 occasions.
