Panthers rookie QB Matt Corral injures left foot

Carolina Panthers rookie quarterback Matt Corral had a walking boot on his left foot after Friday night's preseason contest against the New England Patriots in Foxborough, Mass.

Corral alternated quarters with third-string signal-caller PJ Walker before getting his foot stepped on in the fourth quarter. He went to the locker room for X-rays but the Panthers have not revealed the results.
