Andy Ruiz Jr. conducted a workout for the media Wednesday at his gym in San Diego.

The former heavyweight titleholder is scheduled to face longtime contender Luis Ortiz in a pay-per-view bout on Sept. 4 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
