Supreme Court to consider if mind applied in giving remission to 11 rapists in Bilkis Bano case

The bench observed that SC did not order the release but had only permitted the state government to consider remission as per its policy. The 11 were released from Godhra jail on Independence Day, after they completed more than 15 years in jail.
