Incessant rain in Koyanadu in Kodagu district left the Payaswini River swelling, flooding the Kindi Bridge built across it. Consequently, the residents of Koyanadu were left marooned, and worse still, the village was inundated, with water entering homes. Furthermore, the silt dredged up by excessive rain left the roads and houses muddied.
