Watch as woman rescued by high-speed police boat after getting stuck in River Thames
STUNNING footage released today shows cops rescuing a woman from the River Thames after she fell into the water.
Cops used a high-speed rescue boat to recover the struggling woman.
Officers confirmed the stunning rescue mission took place today after reports of a person in the water were called in shortly before 2pm.
Detective Chief Inspector Alistair Marman of City of London Police said: “The woman was pulled to safety by the Marine Policing Unit and was taken to hospital.”

The London Ambulance Service (LAS) also confirmed that they attended the scene.
An LAS spokesman said: “We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, an incident response officer and members of our hazardous area response team (HART).”
He added that the patient was treated at the scene then taken to hospital “as a priority”.
There is not yet any information on the woman’s condition.

This comes after a similar marine rescue was staged when a yacht moored in Wales burst into flames.
Two people were retrieved from the ship by HM Coastguard, saving them from the blaze earlier this month.
