A global record has been achieved by Mr. Ravi Kishor Mallapragada and his wife, Mrs. Sowdamini, who climbed Mount Kilimanjaro at 61 and 57 years of age respectively. Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and the highest single free-standing mountain above sea level in the world.
