Coronation Street fans terrified for Audrey Roberts after Stephen Reid’s violent outburst
CORONATION Street fans are terrified for Audrey Roberts after son Stephen Reid turned violent after she cut him out of her will.
The businesswoman – who is played by actress Sue Nicholls in the ITV soap – told Stephen that she had changed her mind about creating trusts for her family.
“Oh lovey I’m so sorry I hope I haven’t wasted your time because I’ve had a change of heart,” she told her son.
“You know how muddled my mind’s been lately – I haven’t been able to think clearly or anything.”
Stephen tried to talk her round, but Audrey said: “I’m not signing Stephen, and that’s it. So can we drop the subject.”
He looked horrified – but Audrey had other things on her mind and went to see daughter Gail to reveal her secret.

Opening up, Audrey admitted: “It’s just a few weeks ago everything got on top of me – life got on top of me.
“I just couldn’t see the point of anything, I couldn’t see the point of any day, of the family, I couldn’t see the point of me.
“To cut a long story short, I tried to check out. Kill myself. I took an overdose.”
She added: “It was a build up of things – total despair, it dragged me down.”

Gail was devastated and told her mum she failed her – but Audrey told her it wasn’t about her and it was completely down to her.
And when Sarah, David and Stephen arrived, she told them too.
But she had another bombshell to drop – telling them all how she had changed her mind about the trusts and was going to leave all her money to them all.
However she left Stephen out because he doesn’t need it – leaving him reeling.
He fled outside into the old brewery and began violently smashing it all up – showing off his dark side.
And now fans are terrified that Stephen will kill Audrey to get his hands on her money.
