In Patna, Rao handed over cheques of '10 lakh each to families of five soldiers from Bihar who laid down their lives in Galwan valley, as a possible counter to the BJP on the issue of nationalism. With Kumar by his side, the Telangana CM, known to be among the most critical voices against BJP and PM Narendra Modi, accused the Centre of being indifferent to the needs of the states and not consulting the Opposition even on big issues.
