Protesters evicted from Uptown encampment at luxury development site

About a dozen affordable housing advocates who have been occupying the planned site of a luxury apartment tower in Uptown were “evicted” on Aug. 31, 2022, prompting a march to the alderman’s office and three arrests, according to officials and organizers.
