I’m plus size & really struggled to find boots to fit my calves until I discovered a £8.49 spray – it’s a game changer
IT can be incredibly frustrating as a plus-size woman, or even one with chunky calves, when you can’t find a pair of boots to fit.
But one woman has taken to social media to rave about an £8.49 spray that she called a game changer when it comes to making too-tight boots fit.
Plus size influencer Leah Ryder posted a video on TikTok gushing about Foot Matters’ Shoe Stretch spray.
“I look insane right now because I’m wearing pyjamas with these faux leather boots,” she began – with the boot on her right leg done up, while the one on her left was wide open.
“And as you can tell, one of them is on and this one is nowhere close to zipping, because it’s too small.
“This boot (the right) was exactly the same a few minutes ago – I used this product from Amazon, not sponsored!”

She added that she’s raved about the product before, but explained: “It’s literally called Shoe Stretch, you spray it all over and then you kind of pull your shoe together.
“Just wait, I’ll be back in a few minutes.”
She then had a brief moment off camera, before returning to the screen with both boots zipped up.
“I mean… The results speak for themselves,” she grinned.

Posting the video on TikTok, she captioned it: “This has saved so many boots in my closet that wouldn’t zip!!”
Caitlin Binkley also took to TikTok to share her gushing review of the spray – which costs £8.49 on Amazon – explaining: “So if you are a curvy girl like me, you probably struggle to find boots that fit you properly.
“I ordered these and they’re super cute – you can see that this one fits perfectly, and this one right here, no… It does not even go together.
“Leah Ryder turned me onto a product called Shoe Stretch – this is not sponsored, I’m not getting paid to post this, I’m just letting you know how great this product is.”

As for how she used it, Caitlin said: “I sprayed it on there and left it for about 10 minutes, roughly, before washing the boot on the inside, just to make sure everything’s dried off.
“But it stretched it!”
