Milestones: Good news about Marin people

Recognition: Fairfax resident Renee Rymer, a long-tenured board member of the Marin Symphony, was awarded the 2022 Most Valuable Player Volunteer Award from the Association of California Symphony Orchestras.

Dean’s list: Jonah Cirillo, of San Geronimo, was named to the dean’s list at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia, for the spring 2022 semester.

Dean’s list: John Mihal, of Corte Madera, Simon Martin, of San Anselmo, and Marin Witherspoon and Abraham Gonzalez, both of San Rafael, were named to the dean’s list at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York, for the spring 2022 semester.

Dean’s list: Vanessa Torres, of Novato, was named to the dean’s list at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, South Dakota, for the spring 2022 semester.
