Czechia secures 10th place with 10-0 win over South Africa

After four scoreless innings, Czechia exploded with 10 runs on the bottom of the fifth inning to grab a five-inning win over South Africa and secure the 10th place in the tournament. 

Daniel Sobotka struck out six in four innings, while issuing four walks. Vit Ventruba allowed the lone South African hit of the game in one inning of work.

With this win, Czechia secured the 10th place in the final standings of the tournament, matching their best finish ever in the U-15 age category. They also finished 10th in the third edition of this World Cup in Iwaki 2016.

South Africa finish in 13th place with no wins.
