[Men's Cross Country] Rio's Jenkins shines in collegiate debut

    FAIRBORN, Ohio - Freshman Tyler Jenkins had a memorable collegiate debut for the University of Rio Grande's men's cross country team, leading the RedStorm's season-opening efforts in Friday evening's Mike Baumer Cross Country Classic hosted by Wright State University.
    Jenkins, a freshman from Barnesville, Ohio, finished 15th in a field of 178 runners, many of whom represent NCAA Division I schools, with a time of 15:26.
    Jenkins' finish was the second-fastest 5K time for a male in school history.
