No. 2 Georgia too much for Samford, 33-0
Stetson Bennett threw for a touchdown and ran for another in less than three quarters as No. 2 Georgia scored on its first six possessions en route to a 33-0 victory over visiting Samford on Saturday in Athens, Ga.
Bennett completed at least one pass to 15 receivers, finishing with 300 yards on 24-for-34 passing before being replaced by Carson Beck with 2:34 left in the third quarter and Georgia up 30-0.
