Heavy rainfall in Vijayapura town in the evening on Saturday having resulted in water gushing into houses in low-lying localities, and inundated roads, Nagathan MLA Devanand F Chavan on Sunday visited those areas that bore the brunt of the downpour, and took stock of the damage.
