After trying to get revenge on Warren Fox (portrayed by Jamie Lomas) for Brody’s death, Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) moved on to another target by trying to find who ran him over in January, 2022.
This has led her straight to Warren’s son, Joel Dexter (Rory Douglas-Speed).
Coming up, Joel admits defeat, knowing only the truth can release him from any guilt, and he writes a letter to Warren explaining he was responsible for running him over.
However, at the last second, Sienna pities him and they both agree to move past everything.
But not everyone wants peace in the Chester village…

2. Norma gets involved
Such is the case with Norma Crow aka The Undertaker (former EastEnders star Glynis Barber).
The criminal has been wreaking havoc in Hollyoaks since her first appearance in April, 2022 – although she’s been an active villain for two years, lurking in the shadows.
And that’s exactly what she’ll be doing, spying on Joel and Sienna.
Once the pair decide to turn away and leave their past differences all behind, Norma gets her hands on Joel’s letter and decides to tell Warren where to find the culprit of the hit-and-run.

Soon, the tough man is on a mission, hellbent on making the person who ran him over pay for the trauma he’s endured.
One life will be left hanging in the balance…
Ella was mortified when private pictures of her appeared online[/caption]3. Charlie makes it up to Ella
Meanwhile, Ella Richardson (Erin Palmer) is attracting a lot of negative attention after private photos of her were leaked online.
This week, the young girl is nervous about returning to school but her boyfriend Charlie Dean (Charlie Behan) has a plan to make her feel safe.
He does so by plastering embarrassing photos of himself on the school walls.
Unfortunately, Charlie’s gesture doesn’t go down well.
How will Ella react?
Zoe Anderson went through a traumatic experience before meeting Sam[/caption]4. Zoe makes a shock revelation
DS Zoe Anderson (Garcia Brown) is letting her relationship with Sam Chen-Williams (Matthew McGivern) evolve this week – and finally feels comfortable with telling him about a dramatic experience in her life.
Coming up, Zoe tells Sam she went through something traumatic and he’s lost for words.
When she opens up more about what happened to her, before admitting Saul Reeves’ death pushed her to seek counselling at work.
However, she’s surprised and confused by Sam’s reaction as it’s likely he’s keeping a secret of his own from her.
What is Sam hiding from Zoe?[/caption]5. Sam opens up
The secrecy doesn’t last very long as, in later scenes, Sam confides in his half-sister Lizzie and his uncle Ethan about his conversation with Zoe.
Both characters have only one recommendation for him – that he comes clean to Zoe about what happened with his birth mother.
Sam follows the advice and reveals to Zoe that his family have a history of mental illness… but he still lies about one detail.
The police officer tells her his uncle Ethan struggled with his mental health, not his mother.
Will Ethan find out?
How will he react?
Most importantly, how will Zoe respond?
James Nightingale is causing trouble for everyone in the village[/caption]6. James lashes out
As drama unfolds, James Nightingale (Gregory Finnegan) is up to no good in Hollyoaks.
When Donna-Marie is over the moon about opening her gym this week, a mean-spirited James roots for her failure.
As he continues to spiral, James later taunts a recovering John Paul McQueen with alcohol and hatches a dangerous plan against Donna-Marie.
While he turns to the Undertaker with his devious intentions, Donna-Marie receives the help of Grace Black, Leela Lomax and Romeo Nightingale with the work needed for the opening of the gym.
James proposes to Norma that she scares Donna-Marie into selling the gym at a low price by arranging a break-in.
But when he believes his son Romeo is in danger, James panics – although Leela is the one who ends up getting hurt.
7. Sid gets a jaw-dropping letter
There’s danger looming on the horizon for Sid Sumner (Billy Price) as Victor Brothers makes a slow return.
This is despite Sid trying to hide from the criminal who tormented him and Juliet Nightingale for years.
When the lad tries to convince Lizzie to go on holiday with him, he’s happy to hear her agree to it.
But a letter from prison bursts his bubble as it’s revealed to be from the drug dealer, who was incarcerated after trying to kill Sid.
The latter is overwhelmed with bad memories when Lizzie surprises him with the idea of them both going travelling.
Will he tell her what he’s gone through?
