ITV reveal hosts for special late edition of This Morning after the Queen’s death
THIS Morning will return today for the first time since it was revealed the Queen has died.
ITV have cleared much of its schedule for rolling news, documentaries on the Royals and tribute shows.
However, things are starting to return to normal with This Morning back on air today, albeit an hour later than normal at 11am.
Main hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield will present the special show, which will focus on the Queen.
ITV said last night that This Morning would feature “stories and memories from people who met and encountered the Queen during her reign”.
Holly and Phillip were reunited on air last week after being off over the summer.
A number of stand-in hosts took their places, among them Ruth Langford and Rylan Clark and Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary.
Today’s this Morning will be followed by an ITV News Special – there is no Loose Women today – at 1pm.
Queen Elizabeth II: Lying At Rest will continue throughout the afternoon until Tipping Point: Best Ever Finals at 4.30pm.
The Chase will then air at 5pm as normal before the news and then Coronation Street at 8pm.
ITV said: “ITV’s main channel will continue to make changes to its schedule to broadcast the important state events of the coming days culminating in the historic state funeral with extensive and dedicated news coverage from our news teams.

“ITV will also be showing a number of documentaries about the Queen and the new King over the coming days. No advertising will run during any of the Royal coverage or commentary.
“ITV is reintroducing some of its normal programming over the next few days to provide our viewers with the range of shows that they expect to see on the main ITV channel.
“Commercial breaks will begin to appear in normal programming only, from Sunday evening.”
