Journalist reveals ‘growing confidence’ that Spurs vs Leicester will go ahead
Mike Keegan from The Daily Mail has revealed there is a ‘growing confidence’ that Tottenham vs Leicester City will be played this weekend as planned.
The game is due to be played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday, although that was thrown into doubt with the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth being held just two days later on the Monday.
The last round of Premier League fixtures were postponed as a mark of respect to Her Majesty The Queen, and while The Daily Mirror reported that there was hope games could be played this weekend, the matches in London were still in doubt.
The Daily Mail reinforced that angle this morning when they stated the Premier League calendar was set to resume at the weekend, but London fixtures were most in danger of being postponed for the second week running.
However, if Mike Keegan is correct, there is now a growing confidence that Spurs vs Leicester will go ahead as normal.

Spurs Web Opinion:
It’s all going to come down to whether there are enough police to hold every London game safely this weekend. Anything short of that and they matches will be postponed. However, with the fixture list as packed as it is, everyone will be hoping to see them played.
