Inside A Place In The Sun star Laura Hamilton’s HUGE house she’s building from scratch after split with husband
A PLACE In The Sun host Laura Hamilton has given fans a look inside the amazing house she’s built after splitting from her ex husband.
The mother-of-two took to her social media to show off the results of her impressive home, after videoing the process of building it.
Laura, 40, moved out of the family home with her children Tahlia, seven, and Rocco, eight in March – before building her own house.
The telly host showed off the impressive progress that had been made on the home while she had been away filming.
Laura showed off the brick structure with large holes for windows, as well as the roof being put on and the layout of rooms inside.
The sprawling property, which overlooks a green garden, sits on top of a large brick foundation and chic marble stones.

Laura also showed the first of the mortar being added to the inside of the home as it begins to take shape.
“After almost two months of working abroad, I FINALLY got to see ‘The Rebuild’ (the family home I have been building for myself and the children since March,” she captioned the post.
“I did have a bit of a panic when I walked through the front door (even though I have renovated a fair few properties).
“Although my brilliant build time have done SO MUCH, it’s still a complete building site and I’m mindful of my budget and the rising costs of everything!
“Renovating/building houses can be very stressful, but when you look back at the finished product it is so rewarding.”

It comes after Laura shockingly split with her husband Alex Goward this year after admitting they were on “different paths” in their lives.
The property expert has since been helping her “overwhelming sadness” by throwing herself into working hard on a new property.
Laura married insurance broker Alex in 2012 – three years after they started dating – and they split earlier this year.
Revealing her break-up, Laura said: “This isn’t something I ever thought I’d be saying but, after 13 years of being together Alex and I have separated.
“Our children are and always will be our number one priority and we would respect privacy for our family at this time.”
