The 2022 Sinquefield Cup concluded yesterday in Saint Louis with Alireza Firouzja winning the event after a rapid playoff match against Ian Nepomniachtchi. With a draw in the last round against Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, Firouzja emerged as the winner of the 2022 Grand Chess Tour.
