[Volleyball] Hawks Fall to Jessup in GSAC Matchup

LA MESA, Calif. – The Hawks fell to the visiting William Jessup University Warriors Saturday 3-0 in a Golden State Athletic Conference matchup. The loss moves the San Diego Christian College volleyball record to 1-5 overall (0-2 GSAC).

Depleted due to injury and illness, the Hawks were on the back foot for most of the match against the Warriors.

SDCC's Teresa Ochoa has begun to make her mark on the team. The sophomore outside hitter led San Diego Christian College in kills with 7, and added a block and 4 digs. Freshman setter, Cynthia Salas had 9 assists and 6 digs for the Hawks and KeiAna Pascua led the defensive effort with 8 digs.
