Retired NYC municipal workers enraged by Mayor Adams’ bid to recruit City Council in Medicare Advantage battle: ‘It’s a betrayal’

With backing from the Big Apple's largest municipal labor unions, Adams is asking the Council to rewrite an obscure administrative law in such a way that it would become legal for the city to slap monetary penalties on retired workers who don’t get onboard with its preferred health care plan.
