THERE’S nothing quite like European football to keep you going until the league matches resume on the weekend – but it was up in the air as to whether fans would get their fix this time round.

Is Champions League and Europa League football on next week?

Champions League and Europa League football WILL, for the majority of games, go ahead this week despite Queen Elizabeth’s death last Thursday.

Though Rangers vs Napoli has been postponed 24 hours to Wednesday, September 14.

And Arsenal’s home clash with PSV on Thursday has been postponed.

Uefa said rescheduling the game was “due to the severe limitations on police resources and organisational issues related to the ongoing events surrounding the national mourning for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II”.
