4 arrested for double homicide at San Pedro park during car rally, softball game
Four men have been arrested in connection with a July shooting at a San Pedro park that left two men dead and six other people injured, police said on Monday, Sept. 12.
The crime occurred at about 3:50 p.m. on July 24, a Sunday, at Peck Park at 560 Western Ave., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
On Thursday, Sept. 8, four suspects were arrested by the LAPD and the FBI.
Raynard French, 56, was arrested in Carson; Travion McCraw, 31, in Lake Elsinore; Antoine Newsome, 41, in Gardena; and Kenyon Siler, 48, in Long Beach.
All were booked on suspicion of murder and being held without bail.
At the time of the shooting, hundreds of people were in the park, which was the site of a car show and a weekly softball game. A motive for the shooting was unclear.
