Prince Harry hits back at claims he’s ‘insisting’ on publishing his autobiography in November as he grieves Queen

PRINCE Harry has hit back at claims he is “insisting” on publishing his tell-all memoir in November while he mourns the Queen.

The Duke of Sussex’s autobiography has already caused friction among the Royal Family after it was claimed they were “blindsided”.

Prince Harry has hit back at claims he is pressing ahead with a November release date for his book

Royal biographer Tom Bower claimed Harry was pressing ahead with a release date in November despite the Queen’s death.

He told GB News: “I am told tonight that Harry is insisting that his book is published in November.

It comes as…

“Apparently the publishers are not too certain, but he says if they don’t publish it will be a breach of contract. That’s what I’m told.

“It’s extraordinary. But on the other hand it fits the bill, because Harry and Meghan’s finances depend entirely on the book and on Netflix.

ROYAL RESPECTS

“And also, I think they are convinced they’re in the right and they want to get their own back.”

But a source close to Harry has denied the allegations Bower made.

The explosive memoir will detail the Duke’s life as a member of the Royal Family, his relationship with Meghan and Megxit.

He is said to have received a £15million advance for his book which he vowed will examine the “highs and lows” of his extraordinary life.

Penguin, who previously announced the prince will be donating proceeds from the book to charity, still have not confirmed a release date.

Some publishing sources have suggested the memoir could be pushed back to next year so Harry can write additional chapter’s on his grandmother’s death.

He released a touching tribute on Monday to his beloved “granny” and has been involved in her funeral arrangements.

Harry will today stand side-by-side with Prince William as they follow the Queen’s coffin to Westminster Abbey.

He joined the royals with Meghan at Buckingham Palace to receive Her Majesty’s coffin last night.

The reconciliation marks another sign of hope for their struggling relationship.

It comes after William issued an invite to his brother and wife to visit the flowers laid for the Queen outside Windsor Castle along with Kate Middleton.

In a statement last year about the book, Harry said: “I’m writing this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become.

“I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope that in telling my story – the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned – I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.

“I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I’ve learned over the course of my life so far and excited for people to read a firsthand account of my life that’s accurate and wholly truthful.”
