Joe Swash lands BIG new TV hosting job – his first since marriage to Stacey Solomon
THE PROPS department at CBBC won’t have to order any new name badges for the next series of The Dengineers.
I’m told that former EastEnders actor Joe Swash has landed the presenting role – replacing existing host Joe Tracini.
Joe, married to former X Factor singer and full-time social media user Stacey Solomon, will join Meryl Fernandez when it returns to telly soon.
For those who aren’t au-fait, the show is basically DIY SOS for kids and sees Joe, Meryl and a group of experts build extremely specific dens for some lucky kids.
The new series high-kicks off in style with a Strictly Come Dancing den for one super-fan.
The run also features some other amazing creations including an orangutan den, a Shakespeare den, a crochet den and a rollercoaster den.
