Located in the Atlantic Ocean, the Canary Islands are only a short four-hour flight from the UK with eight islands to choose from: Tenerife,  Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote, La Palma, La Gomera, El Hierro and La Graciosa.

With approximately 12 million tourists every year, the Canary Islands are a popular tourist destination for Brits.

The best deals come from holiday giants like TUI, Thomas Cook, easyJet Holidays, Jet2holidays and First Choice.

The cheapest deal we’ve found is in Costa del Silencio, Tenerife, at Alondras Park Canary Islands with seven-night stays costing from £199pp.

The deal works out at £42pp per night, departing from London Gatwick on October 11 October.

For the same price, you could also go to Lanzarote, with week-long stays at Lanzarote Paradise in Costa Teguise available for £199pp (£42pppn).

For an all-inclusive option, we found seven nights at Tamaimo Tropical in Tenerife from £438 per person – which works out at just over £62pp a night.
