[Women's Soccer] Warriors Lose Heartbreaker to Open GPAC Play

JAMESTOWN, N.D. - Midland University's women's soccer team hiked north to take on the (RV) University of Jamestown in their first Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) match of the season. After falling behind in the first half, the Warriors evened the score in the second half, before a late goal gave the Jimmies the 2-1 decision in the 87th minute. Midland falls to 2-3-1 overall and 0-1 in the GPAC.

The Jimmies came out with a fire on the offense having five corner kicks and four shots in the first quarter of the game. In the 35th minute, they found their payoff goal through Emersen Kimball's kick.
