In a suspected case of lumpy skin disease, two cows have died in the last three days while another is critical in Ranchi district. Though the animals were infected with the disease, the animal husbandry department is yet to confirm if that caused their death. The department will send the dead cows' samples to a Kolkata-based lab to confirm the cause of death.
