7TSix Enter McLaren For GT Open At Monza

New for 2022 GT team 7TSIX will make their Italian debut later this month as the team heads to Monza, entering two categories over the next GT Open event.

The Yorkshire-based outfit will campaign its McLaren 720S GT3 in round 6 of the International GT Open, and the team has expanded its fleet with the addition of a Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo which will compete in the fourth round of the supporting GT Cup Open Europe, during the same weekend, 24-25 September.

The team has campaigned their McLaren 720S GT3 in the full Intelligent Money British GT Championship in 2022, scoring a season-best result of 4th-place at Donington Park.

They have also made one-off appearances in the Britcar endurance championship and GT Cup in their maiden season of competition. Now the HypeX-backed McLaren will join the International GT Open grid as the team makes its championship debut with Bradley Ellis racing as the Pro driver in the car. .

The team’s new Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo will be driven by Charlie Hollings and another Am driver for both of the GT Open Cup EUrope’s 50 minute races across the weekend.
