Classy coach Anna Bey explained the 10 factors that she believes contribute to women looking messy, including common makeup mistakes.
The price of your clothing can be high, but that won’t necessarily mean you’ll look elegant.
You should be following hygiene protocol and avoiding trends.
According to Anna, there are 10 mistakes you can make that are causing you to look cheap which she outlines in her recent video.
The first mistake has to do with your feet.

Even if you think people won’t notice your cracked soles or dry feet, they still could.
“This little detail does leave an impression about you, so make sure you’re doing those pedicures regularly, at least once per month,” Anna explains.
Next, overlining your lips is not a trend that looks as good as you think.
Anna believes this trend more often than not, makes you look cheap, especially when you don’t do it correctly.

And she knows from personal experience that it’s easy to line your lips wrong.
“One major appearance killer that just downgrades everything… If you have greasy hair, then nothing else matters. It just ruins everything,” Anna admits.
“Stepping outside your home with greasy hair, no, that’s just a big no-no.”
It’s okay if you didn’t have time to shower or wash your hair one day, but you shouldn’t let everyone else know that.
Dry shampoo, hats, or head scarves are the best tools to help with a greasy hair day.
Neglecting your makeup is another “no-no.”
Smudged or left-over makeup should never be left on your face.
According to Anna, any time she does see someone with messy makeup, she isn’t left with a positive impression of them.
“Smudged eye makeup or eye crust, or a mixture of eye makeup with eye crust definitely person’s appearance,” she says.
No matter how much you love your hair extensions, Anna urges you to ensure you can never see them.
Although it’s hard to control them as they get looser or older, you’ll present yourself better if those extensions don’t poke through.
Continuing on the topic of extensions, Anna addresses eyelash ones.
Fake eyelashes are appropriate to wear.
But they should be well adjusted and secured.
Anna says sometimes women wearing falsies haven’t glued them on entirely, or some of them are falling off.
“Point number seven: blush that is not blended correctly,” Anna continues.
“Of course, makeup mistakes happen to all of us, but try and blend it so it looks natural.”
Heavy blush was popular in the 80s, and you don’t want to appear stuck in that time.
Another trend from the 80s that Anna recommends women stay away from is having little movement in their hair.
“That does not look good because the whole point of beautiful hair is that it has movement, it has shine, it has luster, and it looks healthy and real,” she explains.
Anna shares a personal pet peeve next.
She believes you should never color your hair a shade or tone that isn’t found in nature.
“Meaning, you know, some crazy color, like, I don’t know, pink, green, blue, purple. I mean green is found in nature, but you know what I mean,” Anna says.
To her, these colors look unkept, especially when the fake color starts to grow out.
Finally, don’t wear cakey makeup.
“Less is more. That’s what I’m taking from this,” one viewer commented.

Anna’s video attracted some people who agreed with her points, as well as some that did not.
