Charlie Adam announces his retirement on Instagram after a 20-year career including 36 Scotland caps

The 36-year-old played 26 times for his country, and had spells at Rangers, Liverpool, Stoke City and Dundee, as well as four other sides, and looks to make the transition into coaching.
