Danny Jones slammed for ‘irritating’ trait during Celebrity Masterchef final

CELEBRITY Masterchef finalist Danny Jones was slammed by viewers during tonight’s final because of his “irritating” trait.

Fans of the BBC One hit took to twitter to call out the McFly singer as the last episode of the current series aired.

Many voiced their frustration over the 36 year-old Bolton lad’s laugh, claiming it was “annoying” and “excruciating”.

One vented: “Danny’s laugh is so annoying. Head wrecker.”

A second added: “All respect to Danny and his @MasterChefUK cooking efforts but oh dear, his laugh reminds me of the Joker. A bit disturbing.”

“I can’t bare Danny’s nervous laugh,” penned a third.

And a fourth ranted: “Danny laughs like he’s caught his b*****d in his fly. Excruciating.”

But not everyone had damning words for Danny’s unique style of laughter.

“Love his laugh. Should be a ringtone,” one fan tweeted.

“Love Danny and his manic laughter” a second said, defending the finalist.

Tonight’s nailbiting final episode saw Danny face off against All Saints singer Mel Blatt and presenter Lisa Snowdon.

During this evening’s instalment the trio had to make a perfect three-course meal in just two hours.

Lisa impressed John and Gregg with pan fried mackerel, a main of pan fried duck breast on sunflower seed puree and a chocolate tart for dessert.

And it was Lisa who was crowned winner of Celebrity Masterchef 2022.

Speaking shortly after she was told the news, Lisa said: “I’m honestly so blown away. It’s such a life changing experience. I feel like this isn’t real! I just can’t believe it.

“I couldn’t of wanted to win something that meant more to me than this. I can’t wait to tell my mum, my dad and my nephew.

“I am on cloud nine. I love it.. I LOVE IT!”

John Torode said: “Lisa throughout this competition has taken the every day and elevated it into something special. This final she dared to do something that was going to be a gamble, and the gamble paid off.

“Her food is fantastic.”
